Coral Lindt is the pen name for Coralie Vernon. Her stories nurture resilience in children aged 2-5. She writes about milestone struggles small children have in making their preferences known, and understands the mayhem than can unfold when parents and grandparents are faced with pressure from little ones to exercise their choices. Knowing these are an outworking of the UN's Rights of the Child (to have a say in matters that affect them), she creates narratives that show children and their parents working it out in ways that avoid making tyrants of either parent or child. She suspects that children who navigate these struggles successfully learn important communication skills and hopes they may one day negotiate world peace!

Beauty from Ashes Motivation

Coralie's created this blog as a reflection on power, constraint and abuse from a faith perspective. It is published at beautyfromashesmotivation.substack.com.

According to the World Health Organisation one in three women (globally) have suffered some form of abuse in their adult life. Abuse that is swept under the rug or else made the subject of enforced forgiveness in faith communities wreaks havok on the dignity of women of faith. Some of them, in the process, abandon it. Coralie decided to publicly reclaim hers as an act of healing.
